Euregio English provides exam preparation for 3 of the Cambridge General English exams: First Certificate, Advanced and Proficiency. These exams cover a wide range of English usage, including language for business but not exclusively and are recognized by companies and universities all over the world. They are ideal not only if you are intending to work, live or study abroad in an English speaking country, but also as a means to motivate you to improve your level and build confidence in your own skills. All the exams can be taken in Eindhoven twice a year, usually in June and December. The certificates are awarded by the university of Cambridge ESOL examination centre.

First Certificate in English.

FCE indicates sufficient proficiency in English to be of practical use in administrative, secretarial and managerial jobs in many industries which require contact with English speakers.
Successful candidates have the ability to deal with routine letters and telephone enquiries and to cope with some non-academic training courses and simple textbooks and articles. The FCE is taken by more than 270,000 people each year in more than 100 countries

Certificate in Advanced English.

CAE indicates a standard of English that is adequate for most purposes including social and professional situations and higher education. The certficate recognises the ability to communicate with confidence in English and deal with most aspects of everyday life: participate in meetings and discussions, express opinions clearly and be able to understand and produce texts of various types, including business letters and reports. You'll also be capable of following university courses taught in English. The CAE is taken by more than 60,000 people each year in more than 60 countries.

Certificate of Proficiency in English.

CPE indicates the ability to function effectively in almost any English-speaking context and a standard of English similar to that of an educated native speaker. Success at this level represents a significant personal achievement and shows that you have progressed beyond a good knowledge of vocabulary and grammar and can actually use the language in real contexts. The CPE is taken by over 45,000 people each year in more than 80 countries.
